The first step toward the Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Space about Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency

network

The Maghrenov project wants to extend its activities and geographical scope progressively toward a more and more wider public. These objectives will be ensured by using existing networks and projects: MIRA, Medspring, MEDPro, EuroMedMARE (Mediterranean Activities for Research and Innovation in the Energy sector), ETRERA_2020 (Empowering Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy Research Alliance for Europe 2020 challenges), REELCOOP (Research Cooperation in Renewable Energy Technologies for Electricity Generation), ERANETMED (ERANETMED – Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation through ERANET through ERANET joint activities and beyond), FETRIC (Future European Tunisian Research Innovation Cooperation), EUROSUNMED (Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation on research and Training in Sun based Renewables Energies), SOLAR-ERA.NET (ERA-NET on Solar Electricity for the Implementation of the Solar Europe Industry Initiative), INCONTACT 2020 - and taking advantage of Horizon 2020’s main focus on innovation, of the future ‘Erasmus for all’ scheme or of the EIB FEMIP programme, inter alia. The Maghrenov project will hope to enter into the scope of further structuring the EMIS through the creation of a shared EuroMed legal entity, which could receive EU support through the application of Article 185 of the Lisbon Treaty.
